Welcome to the Hampshire Hunt

The Hampshire Hunt - the HH - is one of the longest established hunts in the UK, with a history going back to 1745. Whilst being proud of its long history and tradition, the Hampshire Hunt is professional and forward thinking, modern and friendly. Hunting continues within the confines of the 2004 Act and the Hunt also offers an invaluable service to local farmers and individuals, providing a fallen stock collection service as well as taking an active part in county life, displaying hounds at various shows and events across Hampshire.

The HH country

The HH country lies exclusively in Hampshire and extends roughly from Liphook to Farnham and from Basingstoke to Winchester. The Hunt is extremely fortunate to benefit from not only a relatively large area of country but also the great support of a large number of our local landowners and farmers, for which we are incredibly grateful, whose generous consent allows us to hunt across this wonderful area of beautiful Hampshire countryside.

We're lucky to have two full-time professionals, our Huntsman and our Countryman/Trail-layer, who are based at the Hunt Kennels - right at the centre of our hunt country.
